Experienced blue water sailor available for deliveries, expeditions, charters, and remote maritime projects worldwide.

Curriculum Vitae

Inki is an experienced sailor and maritime professional with more than 40,000 blue water miles across the Pacific, Atlantic, Caribbean, and coastal Alaska. With extensive experience in both commercial and private operations, he brings a calm, capable, and solutions-focused approach to life at sea—whether navigating offshore passages, managing guests, operating commercial vessels, or problem-solving under pressure.

His background includes commercial work in Aotearoa with Abel Tasman AquaTaxi and Abel Tasman Sailing Adventures, alongside seasonal work in Alaska with Within the Wild Adventure Company at Tutka Bay Lodge and Katmai Water Taxi at Fat Bear Lodge. Inki has restored and operated a near century-old wooden schooner in Maine for Boothbay Sailing Cruises, skippered private motor and sailing vessel deliveries from Massachusetts to the Bahamas and from Fiji to New Zealand, and operated both term and day charters throughout the United States and British Virgin Islands.

Equally comfortable working aboard traditional wooden craft, modern sailing yachts, expedition vessels, and remote support operations, he values seamanship, adaptability, good communication, and maintaining a steady head in challenging conditions. If you’re looking for an experienced and versatile sailor to join your project, vessel, expedition, or delivery, please get in touch via the Contact Form to discuss availability and rates.
